These are some of my favorite hikes I have peronally done:

This is the Angels Rest hike. It is located in the Gorge

This is a moderate trail difficulty wise. The only "difficult" part is the long switchbacks. Which the entire trail is. The hike takes however long you make it take, I have done it in as little as an hour. Though most people take two hours plus because of the steep incline. Once at the top you can see all the way across the river, and you are eye level with the planes that are flying past you.

This is Mt.Hood Summmit trail. It is located on the south side of the mountain.

This is a hike that is not possible for everyone. It is a dangerous hike since you are walking up a very steep incline on sheer rock and you do ahve to also climp up, over, and down, melting glaciers. You do need to be properlly prepared for this type of hike. It does require stiff, spiked shoes to be safe. You can do it without spikes but the spikes will keep you from slipping so much on the rocks and does let you grip into the glacier when walking on it. Though when I did I used the spikes that you clip and stra onto you shoes. this way when walking on the normal trail it wasn't as uncomfortable.

This is Powell Butte hiking park. It is located on Powell above the parks and homes of the area.

This trail is accessible to anyone of all ages. The trail, has a variety of path types. There is, forest, plains, grassland, oak tree paths. Some of which are dirt, some are gravel, and some are paved. This whole trail system has avariety of uses as well. You can walk it by foot, bike it, walk your dogs, and also ride your equine friend on the trail. It is a trail that is open year round, and is easily accessed seeing as it is in the city. The trail can take as long as you desire seeing as you can choose the route you want to take. All of the paths connect so you can do just a section of it, or you can do all of it.

This is Timothy Lake loop trail. It is located at trail head #528

Timothy Lake loop is by far one of my favorite hikes. It is 15 miles long if you do the basic loop. But there are two other trails that lead off of the main trail. It is an easy hike except some people don't like that it is so long.Otherwise it is a gorgeous hike. You for the entirety of the time walk alongside the lake.
